XBOX 360 in India
I was at IMAX Wadala the other day to watch a movie and guess what did I see, a fully loaded XBOX 360 booth showing all their latest games! It was so exciting to see their presence in India. Also this is the first time in India that a major console release is going to happen simultaneously with its world wide launch. PlayStation was in India a couple of years back but it missed the push required by the company, Sony. Microsoft has taken this into notice and have launched a good campaign to woo gamers into buying their next gen console. Its price tag is steep, retailing with 2 price variants, Rs. 19000 and Rs 25000. The higher version comes with a hard disc. I would personally recommed the higher version as it can be used to store music, download cool content from their XBOX Live service. They recently allowed their XBOX Live subscibers (which is FREE) to view the videos which were released at E3 this year. Thats so cool! I remember catching all the action of E3 on my PC by downloading all the videos from GameSpot. But imaging if I had a X360, it would be just press the button, and I could look at all the videos at one shot!

The sad part with the next gen consoles is that it is best viewed with a HD compatible TV (LCD or Plasma). The cheapest LCD TV retails at over Rs 45000 in India (by SamSung). Without this TV it would just look as an ordinary game console!

I'm waiting for the prices of the LCD TV to fall down. Once this happens I shall buy both the X360 and the LCD TV!
I'm ranked ELITE in BurnOut Revenge!
I've finished more than 70% of my best racing game, BurnOut Revenge. With this accomplishment, I've been ranked as ELITE in the racing rankings! This game has got the best level designs I've seen in a racing game till date. The levels are so beatifully used and are modular in design that every new level looks unique! They just mix n match the level's modular components and voila! they get a new level! Also the crash mode in this game is so much fun! I've never had so much fun with crash mode with the previous BurnOut game. The environments used in this game are so stunning! The quality of design and the number of polygons used in this game sets a new standard in a racing game (PS2). The other day I was watching PGR on X360. It looked amazing. I just thought how BurnOut would look on this console!

Anyways I've enjoyed playing the BurnOut series so far and I can't wait for more from this team. Great going guys!
